Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. It’s the last day of winter and spring starts tomorrow! To celebrate the new season, I’ll be sharing my winter 2017 product empties. I’ve only done one product empty post before but I’d like to do it more often. From now on, I’ll be doing a product empty post every season or quarter… So expect a product empty post every three months! And here’s my winter 2017 product empties.

Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Acne Treatment Cleanser
The first product in my winter empties is Philosophy’s Clear Days Ahead Acne Treatment Cleanser.
Philosophy’s Clear Days Ahead Acne Treatment Cleanser is a staple product in my skincare routine. The 1% salicylic acid in the cleanser helps keep my acne at bay. I use it every morning and night with my Clarisonic Mia 2 brush. The two products together are total game changers and the 8 fl oz bottle actually lasts me a while. Since I ran out of the Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Cleanser, I have not replaced it. Instead, I bought La Roche-Posay’s Toleraine Purifying Foaming Cleanser. It doesn’t contain any salicylic acid but we’ll see how it works for my skin! Expect a product review in the near future.

OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Shampoo
While Philosophy’s Clear Days Ahead Acne Treatment Cleanser is a staple in my skincare routine, the OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Shampoo is a staple in my haircare routine. I don’t wash my hair every day and this 19.5 fl oz bottle lasted me a very long time. I love this shampoo because it smells good, it’s sulfate-free, and it strengthens my hair. The only downside is that it doesn’t provide as much volume as I’d like. Since running out of this shampoo, I’ve switched to Hask’s Chia Volumizing Shampoo and I also love it.

Bath & Body Works Tropical Mint Foaming Soap

Next, I emptied my Bath & Body Works Tropical Mint Gentle Foaming Hand Soap.
My sister and I are obsessed with Bath & Body Works. Whenever there’s a sale (which is often), we go and stock up on candles, hand sanitizers, and soaps. One of the scented soaps I’ve been using is the Tropical Mint gentle foaming hand soap. It smells wonderful and I’m sad I can no longer find it on their website. But I’m sure I’ll easily find a new favorite scent.
It Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC Cream
Then, the IT Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC Cream was part of of my winter product empties.
The IT Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC Cream is definitely one of my holy grail products. I wear this almost every day to achieve a minimal makeup look. I love that it comes with a pump, smells good, and blends into my skin very well. It provides enough coverage so I don’t have to add concealerβ¦ Unless I’m going for a full-face look. This is the third tube I’ve gone through and I think it’s time to try another CC cream. Any suggestions?

Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation
I’ve also gone through a few bottles of the Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation. I love that it comes with a pump, which is basically essential for all the products I use. This foundation feels lightweight but provides full coverage. It’s perfect for both winter and summer. I could be sweating but still look flawless, thanks to the Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation. Since it’s getting warm again, I might have to stock up on this foundation.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Lastly, I ran out of the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.
Like other products mentioned in this post, the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer is a holy grail product for me. I love how it glides onto my skin and blurs my pores. It really creates the perfect canvas for the rest of my makeup. I recently switched to the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, which is a game-changer and worth the extra bucks.

Conclusion of My Winter 2017 Product Empties
And that’s it for my winter 2017 product empties! First, I finished Philosophy’s Clear Days Ahead Acne Treatment Cleanser. Next, I emptied my OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Shampoo. Then, I finished my Bath & Body Works Tropical Mint Foaming Soap. Continuing on, I completed my tube of IT Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC Cream. Additionally, I finished my bottle of Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation. And finally, I emptied my Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.
Some of the items in my winter 2017 product empties are my absolute favorite. Every now and then, I find myself going back to those products. If you haven’t tried them, you definitely should!
