Fall is just around the corner. So you know what that meansβ¦ It’s time for my Summer 2017 Beauty Product Empties! During the summertime, I try to use minimal products. But much to my surprise, I emptied quite a few products this time around. From hair care to skincare, I used it all this summer. If you’re looking for new beauty products to try this summer, keep reading! You might get some inspiration from my summer 2017 beauty product empties.

1) CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
First, I emptied my CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion.
Surprisingly, the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion lasted me an entire year. And I used it every single day! I guess 3 fl. oz. can go a very long way. I also love that the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion contains SPF 30. Also, it contains active ingredients like ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. Although the moisturizer is for normal to dry skin, it worked well with my combination/oily skin.
You can find a 3 fl. oz. bottle of CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion for $18.99 at Ulta.
2) Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
Next, I used up all of my Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer.
I purchased the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer during Sephora’s fall VIB sale last November. It originally retails for $54 but it’s definitely worth every dollar! The Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer feels so soft, silky, and lightweight on my skin. It also reduces redness, pores, and wrinkles. Plus, a 1 fl. oz. bottle lasts a few months so you won’t be wasting your money at all.
Itβs definitely worth the splurge if youβre looking for a high-end primer.

3) Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade
Then, I emptied my Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade.
Well, I didn’t really run out of my Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade. But it did harden. So I couldn’t use it anymore and it was time to replace it.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade is waterproof, multi-masking, and matte. It is ideal for those with combination/oily skin like me. I wear it almost every day because it helps structure my face.
If you’re looking for another brow pomade to try, I also recommend the Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse. Check out my product review!
4) Batiste Dry Shampoo
Next, I emptied my can of Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo.
Even though I wash my hair every other day, it still tends to get oily. When I’m feeling lazy, I use Batiste Dry Shampoo to absorb the excess oil in my hair. In addition to freshening up your hair, the Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo also adds boxy and texture.
The “Blush” scent is my favorite of the Batiste Dry Shampoo line. The scent is great for those who love anything fresh and floral.
You can get a 6.73 oz can of the Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo for $8.99 at Ulta.
5) TRESemmΓ© Volumizing Dry Shampoo
Another dry shampoo I ran out of was the TRESemmΓ© Volumizing Dry Shampoo.
The TRESemmΓ© Volumizing Dry Shampoo contains mineral clay, which absorbs the oils in your hair. And the citrus gives your strands a fresh scent.
I really like this one because it targets my hair concerns — fine and oily hair. If I don’t wash my hair, I use the TRESemmΓ© Volumizing Dry Shampoo in the morning. It helps freshen up my hair for the day.
My only complaint is the thick, white residue it leaves in your hair. Even when I brush it out, my roots end up looking gray!
But if you’re looking for volume while removing oil and odor from your hair, you should try the TRESemmΓ© Volumizing Dry Shampoo. You can get a 7.3 oz can for $5.99 at Target.
6) BiorΓ© Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser
Next, I cleared out my BiorΓ© Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser.
The cleanser contains charcoal to deep clean and purify your pores.
I’ve been using the BiorΓ© Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser all summer and it has worked wonders for my oily, acne-prone skin! After using it, my skin feels spotless and smoother. But during the wintertime, my skin can get dry so I’ll be switching cleansers soon.
If you have oily skin, I recommend the BiorΓ© Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser. You can get a 6.77 oz bottle for $7.99 at Ulta.

7) OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Conditioner
Another one of my product empties for summer 2017 was the OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Conditioner.
The OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Conditioner is a multitasking product that helps make your hair stronger, smoother, and shinier. The conditioner is ideal for people with frizzy hair. But since it contained both keratin and argan oil, I wanted to try it on my straight hair.
I got the OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil shampoo and conditioner at the same time. Although I ran out of the OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Shampoo last winter, I finally ran out of the conditioner. Since I’m out, I guess I’ll be going back to the HASK Chia Seed Oil Volumizing collection (which I love just as much as the OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil collection).
You can find a 13oz bottle of the OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Conditioner for $8.99 at Ulta.
8) Suave Creamy Cocoa Butter & Shea Body Wash
Next, I emptied my Suave Creamy Cocoa Butter & Shea Body Wash.
The Suave Creamy Cocoa Butter & Shea Body Wash contains cocoa butter, shea butter, honey, milk protein, and Vitamin E to clean and freshen up your skin. It is ideal for all skin types.
I’ve been using the Suave Creamy Cocoa Butter & Shea Body Wash and it’s awesome! I love the way it smells and the way it makes my skin feel. I leave the shower with softer, moisturized skin.
You can find an 18 fl. oz. bottle of the Suave Creamy Cocoa Butter & Shea Body Wash for $2.39 at Target.
9) Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication
Lastly, I emptied my Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication.
The Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication is a topical spot treatment that targets pimples and prevents future breakouts. The main ingredient in the gel is 10% benzoyl peroxide. Since it is an acne medication, the gel is ideal for people with acne-prone skin.
Like I’ve said before, I have acne-prone skin. I’ve tried all types of topical treatments but I keep going back to Clean & Clear’s Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication. I like it because 10% benzoyl peroxide seems to work the fastest for me. Every night, I apply the gel all over my face. And I wake up the next day with a clearer complexion! But it does bleach my sheets and pillowcases so I need to find an alternative.
You can find the Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication for $4.99 at Target.
