The Capital Grille
First, the Capital Grille was one of my January 2022 favorites.
The Capital Grille is a fine dining restaurant and steakhouse. You can find locations throughout the United States, as well as Costa Rica and Mexico City.
I went for the first time with my boyfriend, as well as his aunt and uncle. You could say it was a double date. But it was more of a celebratory dinner to honor our fantasy football league victory.
To celebrate, we all had a full and festive meal. We started off with various types of bread and signature cocktails. Next, we moved on to salads. Then, we had our main entrees. My boyfriend and I shared lamb chops with a side of au gratin potatoes. And finally, we finished off the meal with cheesecake for dessert.
All in all, I was very satisfied with my first visit to the Capital Grille. The ambiance was very intimate and typical of an upscale steakhouse. Not to mention, the waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. They even offered to take some pictures for us.
If you’re looking for a fine dining restaurant to reserve for Valentine’s Day, I recommend checking out the Capital Grille.
Glossier Balm Dotcom
Next, Glossier’s Balm Dotcom was one of my January 2022 favorites. I recently purchased it in a post-holiday haul.
Glossier’s Balm Dotcom is a universal skin salve that hydrates and nourishes dry skin. Some of its main ingredients include castor oil, beeswax, and lanolin. Balm Dotcom is dermatologist tested and suitable for all skin types.
Additionally, the lip balm comes in a variety of shades and flavors such as Original, Rose, Birthday, Cherry, Mint, Coconut, Mango, Berry, and Cookie Butter. I chose the flavor Mango, which has a peachy rose tint and smells fresh and juicy. I like Glossier’s Balm Dotcom because it helps hydrate my chapped lips.
Find your favorite flavor and shade on Glossier’s website. A 0.5 fl oz tube costs $12.

iPhone 13 Pro Max
Then, the iPhone 13 Pro Max was one of my January 2022 favorites.
I’ve had the iPhone 8 Plus for the longest time. But my boyfriend convinced me to finally upgrade to a newer phone. And I’m glad he got me to do it. Because it was definitely time for an upgrade.
For one, my old phone still had a home button. It didn’t even have Face ID!
Second, there are massive improvements to the camera. The quality is much better. I can take higher-quality photos in dim lighting. Also, I can zoom in without losing the photo’s quality. And best of all, the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a telephoto lens and macro photography!
So moving forward, all the photos on my blog will be shot with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Unless noted otherwise, of course.

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil
Another one of my January 2022 favorites was Josie Maran’s 100% Pure Argan Oil. In fact, the Josie Maran argan oil is a cult favorite. I’ve been using it for the last few years and keep returning to it.
Josie Maran’s 100% Pure Argan Oil is a multitasking moisturizer that helps hydrate hair, skin, and nails. Lately, my skin has been dry and flaky. So I’ve been applying the argan oil to my dry spots before bed. Almost instantly, I notice that my skin is softer, smoother, and suppler.
The argan oil contains fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamin E. It is also cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types. Therefore, I would recommend this essential oil to everyone because it is multitasking.
You can find a standard size 1.7 oz bottle for $49 at both Sephora and Ulta.

belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb
Lastly, belif’s The True Cream Aqua Bomb was one of my January 2022 favorites.
belif’s The True Cream Aqua Bomb is a lightweight gel-cream that provides hydration to dull, dry skin. It also targets uneven texture. The moisturizer is suitable for all skin types including normal, dry, combination, and oily.
I have combination and oily skin that tends to get dry during the wintertime. To help bring back moisture to my face, I use belif’s The True Cream Aqua Bomb during the day and at night. I love that the gel-cream doesn’t feel heavy at all. Not to mention, it quickly absorbs into my skin. I first used the True Cream Aqua Bomb last winter and I am now on my second jar. I can’t get enough of this stuff!
If you’re looking for a lightweight moisturizer, I recommend trying belif’s The True Cream Aqua Bomb. You can find a standard size 1.68 oz jar for $38 at both Sephora and Ulta.
