Recently, I ran out of all my makeup—literally everything from primer to foundation, blush, and bronzer. I basically had to buy a whole new face for myself. So I went to Sephora and definitely did some damage. It was all worth it though. I’m happy with my purchase and I have more Beauty Insider points, yay! Okay, I’m done rambling. Let’s get to the good part and see what I got in my summer 2015 Sephora haul!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm
I love this product so much, I’ve already gone through two bottles of this BB cream. This time, I didn’t buy it for myself. My sister was asking me to help her pick a new BB cream. Of course, this one by Urban Decay instantly came to mind. It’s lightweight and comes in a universal shade. Plus, it comes in a 1.18 fl. oz. container rather than your typical 1.0 oz. so you definitely get your money’s worth. Hopefully, my sister likes it!
Although Urban Decay discontinued its Naked Skin Beauty Balm, the Stay Naked Weightless Foundation is a great alternative.
Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen
For myself, I got Tarte’s BB primer in the shade, medium. I used this stuff before I started using the Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm and I thought I’d give it another try. I’ve forgotten how great this BB primer works! Most BB creams claim to also work as primers but this one works the best for me. I also love the lightweight, silky texture. Not to mention, it provides full coverage and I can wear it alone whereas I’d have to wear other BB creams under my foundation for better coverage.
Smashbox Studio Skin 15-Hour Wear Foundation
I also recently ran out of foundation so I repurchased Smashbox’s Studio Skin 15-Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation. This is what I’ve been wearing all summer and I’m in the shade 2.2 or light golden beige. I love this foundation because it’s lightweight but provides medium to full coverage, just what I like. Does it also hydrate and last 15 hours as its name says? It definitely does! I apply this in the morning before work and I still look good at the end of the day. Also, it comes with a pump so application is easy and doesn’t get messy!
NARS Blush/Bronzer Duo
I’ve hit the pan with both my bronzer and blush. I’ve been using the NARS blush in orgasm for years now, it’s probably my holy grail blush. Since I also needed a new bronzer, I figured I might as well get the duo in Orgasm and Laguna. And I love these colors! They look great on me. It adds to the flawless face look I sometimes like.
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed
The main reason why I went to Sephora was to buy BECCA’s limited edition highlighter in champagne pop. Even though Sephora’s website said my store location had it in stock, they didn’t. I was devastated but tried the highlighter in opal instead and absolutely loved it more than champagne pop. They’re both pretty colors and as much as I wanted to like champagne pop, opal suited my skin tone better. It helps me strobe just like the models and makeup artists. Who doesn’t want their #HighlighterOnFleek?
