Jan Marini Clean Zyme Cleanser & Skin Zyme Mask
According to the Jan Marini website:
Clean Zyme Cleanser and Skin Zyme Mask are supplemental home care exfoliation products that have the ability to remove dead skin cells without harming sensitive or irritated tissues. Use anytime for an immediate polished look. Intended to be used as a pair. Both products are also great when used as part of a comprehensive skin care regimen.
Clean Zyme comes in a 4oz. bottle and retails for $30 USD. Skin Zyme is available in a 2oz. jar and retails for $60 USD. You can purchase the duo for $90 USD. The key ingredient in each product is the proteolytic enzyme, which is papain from green unripened papaya. The Clean Zyme & Skin Zyme duo is great for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone.
Usage instructions according to Jan Marini’s website:
Clean Zyme should be applied in place of regular cleanser and left on 1 to 2 minutes. Remove with a clean, wet and wrung out washcloth using lukewarm water. Blot dry.
Apply Skin Zyme in a thin even layer over entire face (and neck, if desired) and allow to remain for up to 20 minutes. To remove Skin Zyme, apply a small amount of Clean Zyme to face and massage very gently to achieve emulsification. Remove with a washcloth and splash face 10 to 15 times with lukewarm water. Blot dry and follow with usual Skin Care Management products and/or moisturizer.

Overall, I was very pleased with the Jan Marini Clean Zyme & Skin Zyme duo. I like the citrus smell and the calm, cooling sensation of the cleanser and mask. The other night, I applied the Skin Zyme mask and washed it off with the Clean Zyme cleanser, as directed. I woke up the next day with a brighter complexion. I was surprised at how quickly the duo improved my skin’s appearance! I’m sure with continued use, my acne-prone skin will clear up and brighten up.
