Spring 2017 Product Empties

I can’t believe summer is already here! It feels like I just published my Winter 2017 Product Empties post a few weeks ago. But here we are… Spring has ended and summer has started. With the changing seasons, I’ve slowly transitioned from my winter products to spring products. I’ve been trying to keep my makeup, skincare, and hair products very basic. So I didn’t run out of too many products this last season. If you’re interested in seeing what products I used, keep reading to see my Spring 2017 product empties!

Spring 2017 Product Empties

Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara

Spring 2017 Product Empties | Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara

I got the Maybelline Colossal Big Shot mascara because Manny MUA raved about it. The Colossal Big Shot mascara provided extra length and volume to my lashes. You can still see some product on the wand but I like to change my mascara every three months. Typically, you should replace your mascara every two or three months to avoid bacterial buildup and the possibility of an eye infection. So it’s time for me to switch it up!

Bath & Body Works “Sunrise Mimosa” Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

Spring 2017 Product Empties | Bath & Body Works "Sunrise Mimosa" Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

My sister and I are obsessed with Bath & Body Works. Whenever they have a sale, especially their semi-annual sale, we like to stock up on soaps, hand sanitizers, candles, and air fresheners. One of the B&BW products I recently ran out of was the “Sunrise Mimosa” gentle foaming hand soap. I love the way it smells!

It Cosmetics! Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination with SPF 50+

Spring 2017 Product Empties | It Cosmetics! Your Skin But Better CC+ Illuminator with SPF 50+

The It Cosmetics! CC Cream is probably one of my holy grail products and I’ve gone through so many tubes already! It provides the perfect amount of coverage and SPF. This one contains illuminizer, which will give you a great glow during the summer.

Clear Care Plus Contact Solution

Spring 2017 Product Empties | Clear Care Plus Contact Solution

I’ve been using the Clear Care Plus contact solution because my optometrist recommended it to me. And it’s gross to re-use the same solution more than once! My eyesight is very important to me and I wouldn’t want to risk getting an eye infection.

Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash

Spring 2017 Product Empties | Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash

I love the Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash! It says it’s “unscented” but it has a pleasant smell to me. And it makes me skin feeling so much softer and smoother!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

Spring 2017 Product Empties | NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is another one of my holy grail products. It provides great coverage and makes me look more awake. Since it’s cream based, it does feel a little heavy. I’ll be ditching it (and probably concealer, altogether) in the summer time.

Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray

Spring 2017 Product Empties | Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray

Lastly, I ran out of my Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray. This setting spray was great for my combination/oily skin. It kept my skin matte and my makeup stayed put throughout the day.

That’s it for my Spring 2017 Product Empties! If you enjoyed this post, feel free to check out my other product empties posts.

  1. That reminds me, I need to buy more mascaras. I’m still wanting to try this one but ugh,…not buying cruelty free makeup kills me lol. But it must be so good if you’re raving about it too lol. And how do you afford a NARS concealer and a UD setting spray?! So jealous! I still wanna try them out! LOL

    1. Girl, it kills me too when brands are NOT cruelty free! But I guess it gives you a smaller list of brands to shop from.

Honestly, I usually buy name brand makeup when there’s a Sephora VIB member sale! Otherwise, I’d feel so guilty for spending so much money on makeup! Funny you say that because I’ve actually switched to a Maybelline concealer and NYX setting spray lol. But definitely try the UD setting spray! It’s definitely worth the money.

      1. LOL smart girl! Sales are where you get the best deals haha
Yes, I keep hearing about the Maybelline concealer being like really really good and that it compares to some high-end ones. I have such a hard time finding my perfect shade though, lol.

  2. Ugh, I wish IT cosmetics was readily available where I am! I hear so many wonderful things about their products!

I have tried the Dove body washes before, and they are some of the creamiest and affordable on the market! It’s been a while since I have bought one though, I don’t know why!

    1. You don’t have IT Cosmetics where you are?! That’s unfortunate. Their CC cream is one of my holy grail products!! If you can order their products online, definitely do.

It’s funny, Dove is such a classic brand. And you’re right — they are creamy and affordable. They also leave my skin soft and moisturized, which is what I love!

      1. I can order on QVC, but I’ve just done the currency conversion and it’s pricier by about $7. The thing is, I don’t like ordering makeup half the time, especially bases but am sure there will be other means for it to make it overseas!!
