Oh my goodness! I can’t believe we’re already in June and it’s about to be summer. I’m also glad May is finally over. May was a very busy month for me and I haven’t been able to put much time and effort into blogging. I’ve been celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations non-stop! You’ll see some of these in my May 2017 favorites. But before we start, I have an announcement to make.
New Posting Schedule
After much deliberation, I have decided to change my posting schedule. I’ve seen my blog grow but as I said earlier, I haven’t been able to put much time and effort into blogging as I’d like. Between working full-time and blogging in my free time, I’ve been struggling to focus on other areas of my life such as exercise and socializing. On top of that, I need to make more time for grad school applications. So starting this month, new posts will be published every Saturday. I hate to do this but I need to focus on other aspects of my life. I hope you all understand.
And that is why I’m publishing a post today! It’s my May 2017 Favorites. I’ll try to keep it short and sweet. Enjoy!

Son & Park Beauty Water
I recently ran out of my La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water face mist and needed a new toner. I’ve been obsessed with Korean beauty lately and ordered the Son & Park Beauty Water, which is exclusively available at Sephora. The Son & Park Beauty Water makes a great addition to my skincare routine. It gently tones, exfoliates and removes dirt, oil, and makeup. Plus, it smells good and leaves my skin feeling fresh!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
On top of Korean beauty, I’m a fan of Marvel movies. One of the biggest film releases this summer was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. As expected, the film did not disappoint. It was full of action, comedy, and underrated 80s hits. Go watch it if you haven’t seen it yet!
Harry Styles’s Debut Solo Album
I’m pretty sure everyone knows how much I love Harry Styles. Just a few days before my birthday, Harry released his debut solo album and it was the best birthday gift ever. For a few weeks straight, I had the album on repeat. It’s a big change from One Direction and I believe greater things are going to happen for Harry. This is just the beginning and we get to experience it all.

May is a very busy (and expensive) month for my family. My mom and cousin’s birthdays are on the 5th. Next, my grandma’s birthday is on the 10th. My birthday is on the 15th. Then, my sister’s birthday is on the 18th. And my parents’ anniversary is on the 24th. My family has a reason to celebrate every week of May and it’s always a blast. To celebrate all our birthdays, I got tickets for me, my mom, and my sister to go see New Kids on the Block with Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men. We had so much fun!
Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water
I got a small sample of the Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water in my Sephora package. I came home very late one night and was too lazy to wash my face. So I used the Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water and it worked so much better than any makeup wipe I’ve ever used! It completely wiped off all my makeup, dirt, and oil. I didn’t have to worry about any residue or waking up to new breakouts. The Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water is a life changer and it’s safe to say that I’ll never have to use makeup wipes again.
