Lately, I’ve been obsessed with home renovation shows. Seriously, I could spend all weekend binge-watching Property Brothers. It’s inspiring to see people renovate their newly purchased homes into the house of their dreams. Most especially, I get jealous when people turn a spare room into their very own walk-in closet or dressing room! Watching other people do this inspired me to create a mood board of my own dream dressing room. I turned to Arhaus and Pinterest for some inspiration. Check out what I’d have in my dressing room!

Dream Dressing Room: Mood Board
First of all, the most important thing I would need my dressing room is a full-length mirror. How else would I be able to check out my full outfit and take killer selfies? I’m really into the modern and minimalistic look right now. Wrought Studio’s Dalessio Wide Tall Full Length Mirror would be a great piece for my dream dressing room!
As I’ve said before, I want to display all of my shoes in my dressing room. This DIY shoe shelf from A Pair & A Spare looks simple but fun to spend a weekend building. Not to mention, the natural shoe shelf matches the modern rustic aesthetic.

At the center of my dream dressing room, I’d have an ottoman. That way, I can sit when I put my shoes on. Or my friends and family can sit and watch me try outfits on! The Lounge II Storage Ottoman from Crate & Barrel is perfect because it’s multifunctional. You can sit on it, store stuff inside it, and it even has a pull-out tray!
Additionally, another must-have for my dressing room is a vanity table. Why not do my makeup in the same place I get dressed? The Lacquered Regency Desk from Anthropologie is gorgeous and spacious enough to store all my makeup essentials.
On top of storage space, ample lighting is another essential for my dream dressing room. A mobile chandelier would add glamor to a luxurious dressing room. The 55″ antique brass mobile chandelier from West Elm would be a great addition to my dressing room. For more decor and lighting ideas, check out Arhaus’s selection of lighting and fixtures.
Faux Fur Rug
The finishing touch to my dream dressing room would be a faux fur rug. Having a rug in the center of the room would bring everything together. Plus, it’s more exciting when you have different textures and colors. Walmart’s gray faux fur rug would be a great addition to my dream dressing room!
