Hi everyone, I can’t believe April is already over! This month seriously went by in the blink of an eye. But you know what means? It’s time for my April 2016 favorites! Some of them include the Olympus OM-D E-M5 camera, Mario Badescu’s rosewater facial spray, and the Color Me Rad 5K. Let’s take a deeper look, shall we?

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Camera
I recently graduated in December and as a congratulatory gift, my uncle got me a new camera. My first camera was a Canon and I still use my Nikon. But I felt like it was time to try something new. My uncle, who’s also into photography, suggested the Olympus OM-D E-M5. It’s a hybrid camera and the lens is changeable. Plus, the body is weatherproof!! I’ve been playing around with the camera and it’s a huge upgrade from my Nikon. The photo quality is so incredible, I can’t wait to take the camera around with me.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater
After eyeing Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater for the longest time, I finally went out and got it. Let me tell you, it was the best decision I’ve made in awhile. It smells just like roses and it refreshes your skin throughout the day. Did I forget to mention that it’s only $7 for 4 fl. oz.?! It can’t get any better than that. I loved it so much, I wrote a product review about it.
Murad Acne Spot Fast Fix
I’ve always struggled with acne and it usually worsens when I stress out or it’s about that time of the month. Of course, I’ve tried diets and different acne spot treatments. But my breakouts always come back. Awhile ago, my coworker recommended me Murad’s Acne Spot Fast Fix and I finally got around to trying it. Normally, I use 10% benzoyl peroxide. Although this one is 3.5% benzoyl peroxide, it’s just as potent. I apply it at night and when I wake up the next day, my acne spots have visibly gotten smaller and my skin looks clearer. Plus, it doesn’t dry out my face like 10% benzoyl peroxide does! For awhile, I was feeling really self-conscious about my skin but I’m slowly gaining my confidence back because of this product.
Lemonade by Beyoncé
Queen Bey is back at it again! It’s incredible how she released Ivy Park and just a few days later, surprised us with another visual album. I know, I sound like any other girl who worships Beyoncé. But can you blame us?! I can’t help but feel so empowered whenever I listen to her tunes. “Formation” still gets me pumped. “6 Inch” is my new anthem. And I want to dedicate “Sorry” to all the guys who were once part of my life but keep trying to come back into it.
Color Me Rad 5K
My sister and I recently participated in the Color Me Rad 5K Color Race for a friend’s birthday. Initially, I dreaded the thought of running 3.1 miles while getting powdered and dirty. I watched trailers on the Color Me Rad website and thought I would be drenched in different colored powder, gel, and slime. But it actually wasn’t that bad! I’ve been going to the gym so it didn’t even feel like a long run. Plus, the weather was perfect for running and being in a group of girls helped motivate me. A few days after the 5K, my calves were super sore and I still found color in my ears! But Color Me Rad was super fun and I would definitely want to do it again.
