Hi everyone! I recently posted a review on the Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask. Today, I’m going to review another face and body mask I’ve been using lately, Lush Mask of Magnaminty. If you’re not familiar with the cult brand, so many beauty bloggers and YouTubers rave about LUSH Cosmetics because their products are 100% vegetarian, cruelty free, fresh, and handmade. So you get the point. There isn’t much more to introduce so let’s get to the Lush Mask of Magnaminty!
LUSH Mask of Magnaminty
According to LUSH’s website:
Mask of Magnaminty isn’t technically a daily ‘facial wash’; it’s actually a deep cleansing face and back mask. China clay and fresh peppermint reach deep down to pull the debris from your pores, giving you that delightful tingly-clean sensation. We add loads of aduki beans to exfoliate flaky or dry skin, vanilla absolute to calm redness and honey to soothe. Our inventors created Mask of Magnaminty to be the ‘ultimate face mask’, intense but not harsh or abrasive on the skin. We recommend using Mask of Magnaminty weekly to keep the skin in good condition.
How to Use
- Multitasking face mask: deep cleanses, exfoliates, calms redness, soothes skin
- Not harsh or abrasive
- Suitable for all skin types
- Self-preserving, lasts up to 4 months, and no need to refrigerate!
- Sticky texture from the honey but it helps soothe my sensitive, acne-prone skin
- Bumpy texture from the aduki beans but it helps exfoliate my skin
I’ve used the Lush Mask of Magnaminty a few times, but not enough times to notice significant results. I really like how multitasking the mask is, especially since I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. Its main ingredients, such as kaolin and peppermint, help with all my problems from redness to skin texture. I’m picky with my face masks, especially with texture because I don’t like feeling anything sticky or bumpy on my face or hands for long periods of time. But it’s okay because I know those things add quality to the product. Plus, I use a foundation brush to apply the mask so I don’t have to feel the texture until I wash it off my face.
Since this face and body mask is multitasking, it’s perfect for all skin types and concerns. I would recommend the Lush Mask of Magnaminty to anyone who wants to include weekly masks into their skincare routine. I believe it’s a great beginner face mask to start off with, especially if you don’t have any specific skin concerns to target.
