March 2016 Favorites

Hi everyone!

I can’t believe we’re already at the end of March and quickly moving into April. I recently spent the weekend in Las Vegas, celebrating Spring Break with some of my girls. I had so much fun and loved it so much, I didn’t want to leave! But here I am, back to reality and back to work. And for today’s post, I’ll be sharing my favorites for the month of March.

As you have seen in my Plan With Me series, I am a huge Erin Condren fan. Her notebooks were recently on sale for 20% off and I had to get my hands on one. Unlike my LifePlanner, I decided to go big and get the standard sized 8.5″ x 11″ notebook. And I’m in love with the geode cover! If you want your own Erin Condren notebook or journal, they’re on sale for 25% off until April 3!

Starbucks’s Iced Caramel Macchiato with Soy Milk

Even though the baristas at Starbucks never spell my name right, I love their drinks. I never really liked caramel but my sister’s boyfriend recently converted me into a basic white girl. I tried the caramel macchiato mainly because it looked good. But it also tasted good, especially with soy milk (because I’m slightly lactose intolerant)! And it’s the perfect pick-me-up in the middle of the afternoon.

Balayage Hair

In preparation for Spring Break, I went to my old friend Molly to get my hair done. My hair was down to my butt; it was long but thin and unhealthy with split ends. I got sick of it and it was definitely time for a change. So I went to Molly for a cut and balayage. She chopped off about 8″ and it looked and felt so much healthier. I’m so happy with the result!

Josie Maran Argan Oil

With recent changes in the weather, my skin changed as well. It’s been warm and windy here in California. Although the weather is nice, it’s not so good for my skin (or my allergies). Because of the wind, my skin has been so dry and my acne worsened. No matter how much water I drank or lotion I applied, my skin didn’t really seem to improve. Until I remembered I had some argan oil. I apply a few drops on my face before I go to bed and I wake up with soft, supple skin. Argan oil really is a miracle oil!

Spring Break

Spring Break 2016

Even though I’m done with school, I still celebrated Spring Break because I really needed a vacation from work. I spent a weekend in Vegas with some of my favorite girls and met a bunch of other awesome people. We had so much fun at the day club and night clubs. We got to see the Chainsmokers at Hakkasan and then Showtek at Omnia. My feet still hurt from walking around the strip in heels but this trip was definitely one for the books and I can’t wait to go back!

“Roses (Feat. ROZES)” by The Chainsmokers

Something I never really talked about on this blog is how much I love EDM. I don’t need any drugs to get high, the music just does it for me. When I’m in a bad mood, EDM, especially house music, instantly makes me happier. Everyone in our group was so hyped to see the Chainsmokers perform this live at Hakkasan. This song is my current favorite and it definitely sums up my Spring Break and the month of March.

What are your March favorites? Let me know in the comments. Don’t forget to like & subscribe if you want to see more about my life. Have a lovely day! xx
