Plan With Me: January and February 2016

Hi everyone!

I’m still getting back into the groove of blogging after returning from my hiatus. I’d like to take it easy rather than going back into it with full force. I know my Plan With Me series has always been quite popular. Even though it’s now March, I thought I’d share what I did in January and February. You’ll see how busy I was and why I needed a break!

Plan With Me: January 2016

As always, we’re starting off with the monthly at-a-glance view. January was when I became a peer mentor for my internship and I began grad school applications. There wasn’t much else going on.

But first, champagne. This New Year’s Eve was the first time I stayed home since I was 17 so it’s definitely safe for me to say the cliché line, “New year, new me.” And I love the stickers I got from one of my favorite Etsy shops, Sweet Ava’s Paper.

Week 1 of January, I tried meal planning but failed. At least I filled up all the empty space!

Week 2 of January, I started working out again and I got the peer mentor position for my internship! I really need to drink more water though. Any recommendations for doing so?

Week 3 of January was when I became extremely busy. So busy, I didn’t even have time to plan! This was when I decided to go on hiatus to study for the GRE and finish grad school apps.

Week 4 of January was another busy week. We started recruitment for new interns and even though I finished school, I was still going on campus at least once a week. At least my graduation was finally confirmed!

And now moving on to February!

The monthly at-a-glance view actually doesn’t look too crazy for February.

Here’s week 1 of February. Yay, pink, red, glitter, and hearts! It’s so pretty!! Seriously though, I love these colors but I got sick of them by the second or third week. Has anyone else been watching The People v. OJ Simpson? It’s sooo good! I don’t care how exaggerated it is, I’m hooked.

Week 2 of February was probably my favorite part of the month, to be honest. There was Chinese New Year, my aunt’s birthday, Deadpool, and Valentine’s Day. Such a happy and eventful week!

I don’t even know what happened during week 3 of February… But Deadpool was so good, I saw it again.

And finally, week 4 of February! Things are starting to look normal again. Hopefully March isn’t a super stressful month for me.

  1. Glad to see you’re staying busy and doing some awesome things! Congrats on the mentor position! That’s awesome!

As for the hydration issue, there’s actually an app called Plant Nanny where you “water” a virtual plant every time you drink water. The plant grows as you go and they have some fun options for plants and the pots they sit in. Weirdly helped me get on track with it and now I drink enough water on my own that I’ve stopped using the app!

    Best of luck dear!

    1. Thank you, Brynn! It’s been awhile and I’m glad to hear from you again. The Plant Nanny app sounds awesome! I will definitely have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation. x

    1. Definitely do it! It’s a great way to stay organized and also be creative. It’s also weird to say but I get really relaxed when I plan and decorate my planner. I was looking at Ban.do as well! But then I saw people post Erin Condren planners all over Pinterest and fell in love with them. Let me know which planner you decide on!
