What’s in My Weekend Bag?

Hi everyone!

This weekend, I’m in LA for the PKD Walk but I have other activities planned out such as hiking, kayaking, shopping, and just hanging out. I checked the weather and it’s supposed to be really hot. Like 90+ degrees, which is absurd for this time of year. Anyway, I had to plan accordingly and here’s what I packed! Just a little heads up, I prefer to travel lightly and only pack the essentials whenever I go somewhere.

I like to start off with the bath and skincare essentials first. This includes my towel, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, contacts, cleanser, toner, moisturizer, makeup remover… you get the point. My skincare products are most important because even if I go a few days without them, my skin will break out.

Other essentials are socks, underwear, bras, and sleepwear. No one probably wants to see it but I thought I’d share anyway. Just look at my 1D shirt! And yes, I do actually wear that to sleep.

Like I mentioned before, I have a lot of physical activities planned out. This meant a bunch of workout clothes — sports bra, running shorts, tank tops, and most importantly, my Nike trainers.

Next, I planned out some casual outfits for when I go out during the afternoon and evening. Since it still feels like summer, I thought it would be best to dress like it’s still summer. I packed some shorts, tank tops, sandals, and a floppy hat. I also threw in my kimono for when it gets cooler later in the night.

Another essential is makeup. Just like I do with my clothes, I only packed what I knew I’d use… which is still quite a lot of makeup!

Lastly, I packed my electronics and school essentials just in case I find the time to study. Let’s be honest here, it’s probably not gonna happen but I have multiple presentations and exams this week. The studying never ends and I have to make the time for it.

And just for fun, I’m also showing you what I carry in my little brown backpack. It’s what I consider essential for when I’m walking around, doing tourist things. Of course, my wallet is the most important. I always have to wear my watch so I don’t have to rely on my phone for the time. I also packed my selfie stick for cool photo ops, face mist for when I get hot and sweaty, and my new sunnies to look good while protecting my eyes.

That’s about everything I packed for this weekend! How do you pack for a weekend trip? Let me know in the comments!

This was a much needed getaway and I can’t wait to share more stories and photos with you. Check back on Wednesday for my next post. Don’t forget to like and subscribe if you enjoy what you see. Until then, have a lovely day! xx

  1. Hey I just saw that you are in the Beauty Crowd pro and thenBrandBaker Networks. Did they offer you already any opportunities or did you find them helpful?

    1. I just signed up last week but they haven’t offered me anything yet. First, you have to sign up or apply to be accepted. Depending on how many products they have, they select a few and then those few can review the products. My friend just got some full sized samples, which is awesome! You should definitely look into those networks. It’s a great way to expand your audience. xx

  2. Haha, no shame in wearing 1D pajamas! I have an XL tee of Taylor Swift during her Red album promotion that I wear as a sleep shirt. I’m the same way with packing homework. There’s probably an 80% chance I’m not going to get to it, but I’ll regret it if I don’t pack it!

    1. Nope, definitely no shame! I own like 4 One Direction shirts and I wear them all to sleep hahah.

It’s true, I packed my homework with me and didn’t do it until Sunday night… I’m so bad! xx
