Happy Sunday, everyone! A new school and work week starts tomorrow and I’m definitely dreading it. Since I work in accounting, the tasks are never-ending and can be quite stressful. I know I’ve been on both the giving and receiving end of being short with coworkers. And stress is definitely to blame for my short temper. Here are 16 different ways you can de-stress and take care of yourself:
- Get some fresh air.
- Go hiking.
- Get brunch with your friends.
- Watch a movie.
- Binge-watch your favorite TV series.
- Listen to music.
- Get a mani and pedi.
- Treat yourself to a Lush mini-haul.
- Do a face mask.
- Take a bubble bath.

These are some things I do to de-stress and practice self-care before a new work week. It helps me clear my mind and go into the new week with a positive attitude. I always remind myself that there is no point in stressing over things I cannot control. All that time you spend stressing could be spent more effectively, such as doing something you actually love.
